It was this certainty that drove my search for the knowledge and skills that would help me confirm my inner conviction. Knowing without proof, against all obstacles or disbelief is a way to access future knowledge, and is a basis for faith in oneself…
Once a person has mastered the feeling of being an artist in any medium, it is possible to work in any other medium. I started out as a painter, but over the years I have explored video, sound, interactive art, humor, dance, graphic design, and poetry. All I have to do is transport the mood of the artist over to the medium I have chosen. In fact, it is often an advantage to not know the medium that well, the work that results can be surprisingly fresh that way…
